RAIL passengers travelling between Ipswich and Lowestoft - to stations including Woodbridge, Wickham Market and Saxmundham - faced delays yesterday because of problems with lineside equipment.
There were delays of 35 minutes while engineers solved the problems on electronic signalling equipment near Saxmundham during the late morning.
Rail services returned to normal on the route during the afternoon once the repairs had been completed - although there were some knock-on delays later in the day.
