POLICE are investigating two distraction burglaries in a north Suffolk town today.The first incident happened at about 1.50pm in Church Green. A man in his 30s or 40s approached the property and said he needed to check the water.
POLICE are investigating two distraction burglaries in a north Suffolk town today.
The first incident happened at about 1.50pm in Church Green. A man in his 30s or 40s approached the property and said he needed to check the water. He gained access to the property but nothing was stolen. He was described as being white, about 5ft 5ins to 5ft 8ins, and was bald. He was wearing jeans and a light coloured top. The resident pulled an emergency cord and the man left the property.
The second incident happened at about 2.30pm in Lakeland Drive at the home of a woman in her 90s and money was taken from the property. The man is described as being white and in his 20s and 30s and was wearing work-style clothing and had short brown hair. He was about 5ft 8ins tall.
