manningtree: A dog is missing after it began to struggle on the ice and mud.
Walton Coastguard and the Harwich RNLI Inshore Lifeboat were called at 11.17am on Saturday after a small dog was found to be struggling near to the River Stour at Manningtree.
The dog owner and other bystanders lost sight off the dog prior to the arrival of the crews. A search was conducted but the dog was not found.
