The popular Australian missed most of last season after aggravating a shoulder injury early on but is now back racing in his home country.
Pirates chief Matt Ford said: “Contrary to the stories that have been recently doing the rounds in the speedway press, Jason was always going to ride for us.
“In fact his deal was completed long before the Christmas holidays."
