A YACHT was towed to safety after the propeller failed off the Suffolk coast.
Harwich lifeboat crews were called at about 9am on Saturday May 31 to assist 32ft yacht Blue Bell which was approximately 24 miles east of Harwich.
The yacht, which had four people onboard, was drifting in dense fog near the shipping lanes.
It was located by using directional equipment onboard the lifeboat and taken in tow to Shotley Marina.
