A DRIVER has been arrested after a car collided with an embankment in Suffolk.

A TEENAGE driver has been arrested after a car collided with an embankment in Suffolk.

The dark blue Ford Fiesta was spotted by police officers on the B1120 at Badingham, near Framlingham, then collided with an embankment by the road in New Road, Framlingham, at just before midnight yesterday.

Police officers found one person asleep in the car and two others had run off, but were later caught and treated by paramedics for minor injuries.

An 18-year-old man from the Laxfield area has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police and being unfit to drive through drink or drugs.
