A DRIVER was taken to hospital this afternoon following a crash in the centre of an Essex village.
The accident happened when a blue VW Beetle was in collision with a stationary vehicle outside the former Fleetshield garage in East Street, Coggeshall.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident shortly after 12.30pm which saw the VW collide with a Vauxhall Movano.
The driver was treated by an ambulance crew before being taken to Colchester General Hospital although his injuries were not serious.
