E-fit issued after distraction burglary

POLICE today issued an E-fit image of a man they want to trace following an attempted distraction burglary at a 68-year-old woman's house.

POLICE today issued an E-fit image of a man they want to trace following an attempted distraction burglary at a 68-year-old woman's house.

The incident took place in Surbiton Road, Ipswich at about 4pm on Wednesday.

A man knocked on the door claiming to be looking for his ball. He asked the woman to accompany him to her garden to look for it. Upin returning to her house, the victim noticed a second man in her kitchen. Both were told to leave.

The first was white, aged about 19, with fair skin and blue eyes. He was wearing a light blue baseball cap, a blue and cream top and darker trousers.

The second was also white, aged at least 40, with thick black hair and dark eyes. He was wearing dark clothing.
