A man in his thirties fell from a horse in Newmarket early this morning and suffered head and chest injuries.
Dr Tim Lightfoot, Dr Gemma Mullen and critical care paramedic Jemma Varela from the East Anglian Air Ambulance arrived at the scene via rapid response vehicle at 7.50am.
They treated the patient at the scene and stabilised him before he was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital by land paramedics for further treatment.
