Eat your way around the county on June 21.

There are loads of reasons to celebrate our fine county on Suffolk Day (June 21) but we can think of nothing better than getting out to one of our pubs, cafes or restaurants to treat yourself to some local food and drink. Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

1. Join an Inn to Inn Treasure Hunt organised by The Westleton Crown and The Ship at Dunwich, from June 21 to 24. Start at either pub, follow the signs, take a selfie with the Suffolk Day sign en route and finish at the remaining pub where your pic will get you a free drink and entry into a draw to win an overnight stay with breakfast. There are three routes to choose from (3.5miles, 5miles or 8.5miles).

2. Slate in Aldeburgh and Southwold will be running tastings on everything from Suffolk honey to chocolate on the day, and is hosting a cheese, wine and pamper evening at Amanda Smith Treatments in Wrentham too, from 7pm. Join them for a night of pampering, fromage and vino. Tickets are £20 per person in advance from either store.

3. The Crown Inn in Woodbridge is running a set Suffolk Day menu all week, with three courses priced at £21.
