EDDY Alcock, who represents Thredling, is to join Suffolk County Council's ruling Cabinet as portfolio holder for environment, waste and economic development. He replaces Colin Hart, who resigned in disagreement over the council's decision to support the controversial proposed win farm at Parham airfield.
