Get in the mood for British Food Fortnight
Here we are again at the Aldeburgh Food Festival, then follows a whole host of wonderful fringe events. Here is one special event to think about. In aid of Suffolk Breakthrough Breast Cancer, four female guest chefs take to the Froize kitchen for the night. We’ll be cooking up a wonderous ‘pink storm’. There’ll be masterchef and author Madeleine Bonvini-Hamel from The British Larder, Pump Street Bakery’s very own Joanna Brennan, the one who sows the seeds for the next generation of chefs, Kate Kilburn from Orford Primary School’s Kitchen classroom and me! I’ve seen the menu and its going to be amazing, so don’t delay if you fancy it, book now!

The festival as ever will include many local and nationally celebrated chefs, visitors from near and far and it’s going to be better than ever before. One thing that marks it as different to other food shows and festivals are its exhibitor credentials. All must hale from Suffolk and this gives the festival a credibility that others would kill for.
There is a real family feel to the Aldeburgh Food Festival, familiar faces and a spirit of goodwill towards all things foodie.
On one of my appearances on the Generation Game I made sausages by hand and this I shall be doing on both days on both stages so catch it if you can!
