Lifeboat crews in Essex attended two incidents yesterday.
At 9.21am, the Walton RNLI allweather lifeboat went to the assistance of the angling boat Boudicca with three people on board, broken down in the Black Deep.
Once the crew had arrived, they found those on board the boat had resolved the problem, and no assistance was required.
At 12.07pm, the Harwich RNLI Inshore Lifeboat proceeded to the yacht Kimberly B with three people on board, which had run aground at Stone Point at the entrance to Walton Backwaters.
The lifeboat returned to station and the yacht subsequently refloated at 2.30pm and continued to Titchmarch Marina.
