A man has been airlifted to hospital after being attacked by a bull in Essex.
The man was pinned against a set of railings by the animal but managed to quickly escape on to a walkway in the incident in North Weald Bassett.
He was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital with non-serious injuries after the incident near Epping at around 9.10am today.
Terry Brennan, paramedic officer for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: “The man had been pinned against some railings by the bull but managed to quickly escape onto a walkway.
“Crews treated him for a pelvic injury and he was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital where his condition wasn’t thought to be serious.”
