Essex: Missing man found in pub

A missing vulnerable man who sparked a full-scale police search was found in a pub.

Essex Police called for assistance from Thames Coastguard for the search for a vulnerable 20 year old man from Jaywick, last scene in Clacton Town centre at 5.15pm yesterday.

Clacton Coastguard search team and RAF Rescue Helicopter from Wattisham in Suffolk were both tasked to assist the police units already on scene.

The Coastguard team conducted a shore line search from Holland on Sea to Jaywick.

The male was found and apprehended by the police at 8.40pm in a local pub, prior to the helicopter arriving on scene.
