Essex Police make two arrests after finding outbuilding containing more than 100 cannabis plants

Two people were arrested after Essex Police officers found more than 100 cannabis plants in an outbuilding.

Officers executed a drugs warrant in Dumont Avenue, St Osyth this morning at about 8am.

A man and a woman, both in their 40s and from the village, were taken away for questioning.

The male was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, while the female was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and abstraction of electricity.
