RAIL passengers face cancellations or short-notice delays of up to an hour after signalling problems on the main line this morning.
A spokesman for franchise operators Greater Anglia said the problems had been resolved but delays were still a possibility.
The spokesman said: “Following signalling problems between Manningtree and Colchester all lines have now reopened.
“Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes at short notice. Normal services will be provided as soon as possible.”
The 10.22am Manningtree to Harwich service was cancelled as well as the 9.35am Colchester Town to London Liverpool Street.
