Joshua Borley, 11, and Charlie Williams, 15, were two of twenty children to perform during the Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 live Stand Up to Cancer Show.

The Children’s Choir sang with the former X Factor judge after a series of rehearsals.

Josh, from Clacton, has battled non-Hodgkin lymphoma since the age of five while Charlie, from Sudbury, was diagnosed with medul-loblastoma, a type of brain tumour, when aged five and had the all-clear three years ago.

Both youngsters said taking part in the show had been a fun experience.

On the night the show, which included a whole host of celebrities, raised £14.5million.
