GENEROUS speedway fans raised a bumper amount for Cobras rider Lee Strudwick at Saturday's Rye House Rockets meeting.
The collection on behalf of Kart Raceway Cobra Strudwick banked the amazing figure of �530.90.
Of that, �300 will immediately go to paying off Trudwick's fine incurred at the previous night's meeting at Scunthorpe, while the further �230.90 will be donated to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund.
A spokesman for Rye House said: “On behalf of Lee, a big 'thank you' to all who gave.”
