Carol Ann Myhill died after a Vauxhall Astra car collided with her as she pushed her pedal cycle along the pavement on Victoria Road.
The accident happened on Wednesday, February 25 at about 11pm and the 61-year-old was taken to Ipswich Hospital where she died soon after.
James Sadler, 18 of Andrew Close in Leiston and a 17-year-old boy from the Theberton area have both been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The pair are due to appear before Lowestoft Magistrates Court next Tuesday, May 5.
The grandmother, who had worked at the Wentworth Hotel for 22 years, was often seen pushing her bicycle through Aldeburgh.
Lifeboat crews walking home from a first aid refresher course rushed to the scene of the crash and desperately tried to save Mrs Myhill, but she died soon after ambulance crews transferred her to Ipswich Hospital.
