Felixstowe/Bury St Edmunds: Despair after charity group’s laptop, which had recordings of their fund-raising efforts, is stolen

BOSSES at a Felixstowe-based charity have been left devastated after thieves pinched a laptop which contained recordings of their fund-raising concerts.

Waiting for Christmas, a project run by Christians in Felixstowe, is aiming to raise 50,000 for Tearfund’s work with the poorest people on the planet.

They have run several concerts in Felixstowe with school children and had been hosting shows at the Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, when the theft took place sometime between December 11-12.

The project leader, Andy Rayner, of Christ Church, Felixstowe, said: “It has got recordings of lots of our concerts and it is the only copy we have got. It has got quite a lot of value in terms of content.

“It just leaves a bit of a sour taste in the mouth really.”
