FIREFIGHTERS are on the scene of a crash between a car and lorry near Felixstowe port today.
The crash, which involved an HGV lorry and a purple Citroen Picasso, happened at around 4.10pm today on the Port of Felixstowe Road near the Dock Spur roundabout.
There were initial reports of smoke issuing from one of the vehicles but fire crews from Felixstowe station found this was because of a turbo which had blown on the lorry.
An ambulance was called but no one was hurt in the crash. Police are still on the scene awaiting recovery of the vehicles.
