FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a kitchen blaze at a flat in Felixstowe.
At 12.21pm two crews from the town’s fire station were sent to a property at Avocet Court in Langer Road after receiving several 999 calls.
Firefighters arrived to find the kitchen of the second floor flat well alight and a hosereel jet was used to put out the flames.
The blaze was out by 1.09pm and firefighters stayed at the scene to ventilate the property and help clear debris from inside.
