FIREFIGHTERS were this morning called to Rushmere Golf Course where an area of gorse scrub had caught light.
A crew from Ipswich’s Princes Street station arrived shortly after 8am at the scene of the fire, which had spread across an area measuring 10 by 10 metres.
With the use of a single hose, firefighters were able to get the flames under control by around 8.50am.
