Fire crew free stuck child from swing

FIREFIGHTERS were today called to a playground near Bury St Edmunds where a child was stuck in a swing.

FIREFIGHTERS were today called to a playground near Bury St Edmunds where a child was stuck in a swing.

A crew from Mildenhall were alerted at 5.50pm to an 11-year-old stuck in a swing in Red Lodge.

The child had become stuck while playing in the park off Heatherset Way.

Firefighters spent around 10 minutes trying to free the child who was eventually released without any injuries.
