AN area of heathland caught fire this evening in Martlesham Heath.
A fire crew from Woodbridge were called to the scene off Deben Avenue at 9.30pm.
Firefighters tackled the blaze, which had spread across an area of heathland measuring 15 by 15 metres, and had the flames under control by 10pm.
