FIRE crews have tackled a blaze which engulfed a conifer hedge.
Firefighters attended the fire in Ansell Close, Hadleigh, at 8.33am today, following a report of some trees alight.
On arrival, the crew from Hadleigh Fire Station discovered four metres of conifer hedging alight.
The fire was brought under control using a hose reel jet and was extinguished by 8.46am.
