Firefighters in Essex were called to an unusual incident in Great Bromley this afternoon, after a gazebo became stuck in some power lines.

The incident was reported shortly after 4.15pm in Frating Road.

The gazebo had blown away in the wind and become snagged in the overhead power lines.

Two units from Colchester, including one aerial ladder platform, attended to the scene.

The electricity board isolated the power supply, before firefighters used an aerial ladder platform to retrieve the gazebo.
