Fire crews have been called to a barn fire in Brandeston this evening.

Firefighters were alerted shortly after 9.30pm to a barn blaze in Friday Street.

Four units have been called to the scene to tackle the fire.

It is believed to be a workshop, although no details were available as to what the barn contained.

No is thought to be injured.

Fire crews were also called to two incidents of bins being set on fire in Ravenswood Avenue in Ipswich.

A crew from Princes Street attended shortly before 10pm to extinguish the flames, which are believed to have been set alight deliberately.
