Six fire crews were called to a garage in north Suffolk this morning following reports of a car fire inside a garage.
The blaze broke out in Benacre Road, Ellough, near Beccles, at about 11.50am today and also involved “cylinders”, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service reported this afternoon.
Crews from Beccles and Lowestoft South were sent to the scene initially, but they stated the fire had spread to a lorry so a further crew from Lowestoft was called for.
A further crew from Lowestoft North, a command support unit from Beccles and a support crew from Southwould also ended up being sent to the incident.
Two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the blaze by about 1.40pm.
