Crews from Beccles and Lowestoft South were sent to the scene initially, but they stated the fire had spread to a lorry so a further crew from Lowestoft was called for.

A further crew from Lowestoft North, a command support unit from Beccles and a support crew from Southwould also ended up being sent to the incident.

Two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the blaze by about 1.40pm.
