FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a car blaze in Colchester this morning.At about 5.30am crews were called to the incident on the corner of Mill Road and Turner Road.
FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a car blaze in Colchester this morning.
At about 5.30am crews were called to the incident on the corner of Mill Road and Turner Road.
On arrival they found a car alight inside a brick garage building at a block of flats. Reports suggest further cars nearby are also on fire.
Turner Road, between Mill Road and Colchester General Hospital, is closed off to traffic as emergency services are on scene.
A spokesman for Essex police said crews were working to bring the flames under control and people in the surrounding area had been evacuated.
