Fire crews help extinguish blaze in woodburner flue

Firefighters were called to put out a fire involving the flue of a woodburner at a property in Mendlesham.

The alarm was raised just before 5.45pm on Friday to the address in Old Market Street.

One fire crew from Eye attended and it was under control within an hour.
