Firefighters were called to a pub in Woodbridge after a fusebox caught fire.
Crews were called to the Old Mariner pub in New Street at 1.43pm.
On arrival crews discovered a fire in a fusebox in a ground floor cellar.
One fire engine from Woodbridge and one from the Colchester Road depot in Ipswich attended the incident.
Crews wore two sets of breathing apparatus and used one dry powder extinguisher to tackle the blaze.
The stop message was received at 2.49pm.
