FIREFIGHTERS in Essex have tackled a blaze that broke out at a Chinese restaurant.
The fire started at the rear of the Golden Dragon in St John's Street, Colchester, at just after midday.
Two fire crews from Colchester and a third from Wivenhoe attended the scene and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the flames, which were fully extinguished by 1pm.
One man was treated for smoke inhalation and an investigation has now been launched to establish the cause of the fire.
