Crews were at the scene for nearly three hours.

Fire crews from Suffolk have helped to free a trapped animal in Homersfield.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called shortly before 4pm to Downs Farm Lane to the assistance of a dog who was trapped in a fox hole.

One vehicle from Bungay and another from Norfolk attended the scene.

Urban Search and Rescue were also requested to aid fire crews.

A stop was called on the incident at 6.44pm.
