A rescue crew was forced to wade onto a flooded road to save a person trapped in their car this morning.
The individual was unable to leave their vehicle after becoming stuck in flood water on Captain’s Lane between Elmswell and Wetherden.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Services said firefighters received a call at 11:33am today, Monday, April 2, from a person trapped in their car near Wetherden.
A rescue crew attended dressed in wetsuits to free the individual from the vehicle.
Luckily, no injuries were reported and the incident was declared closed at 12pm.
