FIVE cars were involved in a crash on the A12 this morning.
The accident happened on the southbound carriageway near Kelvedon at 7am.
A silver Land Rover, black Hyundai, grey Toyota, grey Hyundai and a white panel van were involved in the collision which caused delays.
An Essex Police spokesman said one lane of the A12 had been closed for around half-an-hour, reopening by 7.30am.
He said some people did sustain minor injuries but ambulance crews were not required.
