PARAMEDICS in Suffolk have been called to a series of accidents today.

At 11.20am a 60-year-old female pedestrian was hurt in a collision with a car outside Waitrose in Newmarket.

She was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with leg and arm injuries.

At about 11.30am an ambulance was called to Norwich Road in Mendlesham where a 49-year-old woman was hurt in a collision between a car and a lorry.

She suffered only minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.

Then at 11.35am a 70-year-old woman was left in hospital with chest pains after a two vehicle crash in Tuddenham Road, Barton Mills.

At 12.10pm paramedics were called to Thetford Road in Ixworth where a 25-year-old man was hurt in a collision between a motorbike and another vehicle. He was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital

And at 12.20pm a man in his twenties was hurt in a single vehicle accident on the B1119 at Cransford near Framlingham. He was treated on the scene.
