Four people have been taken to hospital after a five-vehicle crash at a known accident blackspot today.
The pile-up happened at around 12.30pm on the A11 London Road just north of the war memorial at Elveden, a stretch of road notorious for accidents.
One woman with injuries to her back and neck and another person with knee and chest injuries were transferred to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. Two other people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for a short time but has now re-opened.
One of the ambulances was flagged down en route to the incident to help a woman in labour, who was later taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
