ONE person has been taken to hospital with “life-changing” injuries after a serious, head-on road crash involving two cars in Suffolk.

It happened at about 2pm on the A1101 near Flempton, and involved a Toyota and a Passatt.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene to find three people trapped in the wreckage. They were released by 3pm, and one person was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, with life-changing injuries, according to police.

At 3.30pm the road remained closed and diversions had been set up.
