Four arrests as police launch murder probe after fatal stabbing

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was fatally stabbed in Chelmsford.
Police were called to Cromar Way just before 1am this morning and found a man, in his 40s, severely injured at the scene.
He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead just after 2am.
Three men, aged 40, 53 and 59, and a 53-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 53-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of Class A drugs.

Essex Police says an alleyway near Meteor Way has been closed as part of the investigation and may impact pedestrians in the area or those attending Essex County Cricket Club.
