HEAVY congestion snared rush hour traffic after a four-car collision at the Copdock roundabout in Ipswich at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

HEAVY congestion snared rush hour traffic after a four-car smash at the Copdock roundabout in Ipswich at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

A 35-year-old woman was taken to Ipswich hospital suffering from back and neck injuries following the collision, which involved a green Peugeot 206, a grey Seat Leon and a white minibus.

Long tailbacks were also caused when a lorry blew a tyre on the inside lane of the westbound A14 at 3.20pm

Drivers facing growing queues as police were forced to close the lane while repairs took place. Police are still on the scene.
