Firefighters were tackling a building blaze near Colchester on Wednesday night.
Four fire engines were called to the single-storey building blaze in Crown Lane South, Ardleigh at 10.13pm.
A fire brigade spokesman said: “Firefighters have been called to tackle a fire in a single storey building which measures 15m x 25m. Crews reported the building is heavily smoke logged.”
At 10.50pm, he added: “Crews are continuing to tackle the fire using one main jet and one hose reel jet.”
