A MOTORIST was left with a hole in her windscreen after an item was thrown from a bridge, police say.
The incident happened on the A12 underneath the Bucklesham Road bridge, at Foxhall, around 10.30am on Tuesday.
A police spokeswoman said: “We by a woman in her 40s who reported that she had been driving under the bridge two hours earlier when something was thrown from the bridge that then hit the roof of her vehicle and caused a hole in the windscreen. She hadn’t seen anyone on the bridge at the time.
“Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area around this time to come forward if you have any information about the incident or the person responsible.”
