ROWS of imaginatively decorated trees lined the aisles of a Suffolk town’s magnificent church in celebration of the festive season.
The Framlingham Christmas Tree Festival featured some 30 firs, decked by playgroups, youth groups, shops, businesses, societies and organisations.
Organised by the Friends of St Michael’s, and raising funds for the town’s listed church, the event included carols by Framlingham College’s chamber choir and the local Brownies, while the Girl Guides provided hot soup at lunchtime, with cakes and fairtrade beverages served all day.
All the trees will be in place this week, and many until Christmas.
Entry is free, but a donation is appreciated.
