A TRAINEE hairdresser has adopted a radical style in the name of charity.

Felicity Eley, from Leiston, swapped places at Carley Hill salon in Framligham, where she normally does the cutting.

The 17-year-old, who had the chop in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice, said she was already quite fond of her new look despite the odd stare. She decided to support the hospice following the death of a family friend and her grandmother’s recent treatment for cancer.

Salon manger Hayley Burnham took up the clippers for the head shave, which has already raised hundreds of pounds.
