A 21-year-old man is due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning, Tuesday, April 22, charged with burglary and theft in connection with two incidents that happened at St Michael’s Church in Framlingham in February.
Jamie Corby, of Fore Street, Framlingham, was arrested by police on March 1 after several incidents at the church.
He was subsequently charged with stealing a handbag, containing a purse, cash, cards and a mobile phone, to the value of over £540, from a pew around lunchtime on Friday, February 7 and with burglary with intent to steal on Friday, February 28.
He is due to appear before magistrates from 9.20am today.
