FIREFIGHTERS arrived at the scene of a road crash this morning to find a car abandoned in a ditch.
Crews from Debenham and Ipswich’s Princes Street station and Colchester Road headquarters were called to the scene, on the B1077 between Framsden and Helmingham, just after 8.30am.
On arrival they found a car in a ditch but the driver was nowhere to be seen.
But firefighters stayed on scene to help make the area safe.
