CHILDREN attending Woodpeckers Nursery, in Melford Road, Sudbury, were in the limelight and getting the gushing sounds of delights from both parents and relatives, yesterday.
Boys and girls, many of them aged just three years old, took part in their Christmas Nativity, held at the town’s Our Lady and St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, in The Croft.
The church was full and there was standing room only in the aisles for the performance which delighted staff and parents alike, said the nursery’s co-owner Deirdre Micklewright.
