BUDDING actors and actresses have taken to the stage for a traditional seasonal tale.
The youngsters from Wilby Primary School recently performed their Easter play, Roll Back the Stone.
It featured 26 young actors and actresses from years three and four and told the story of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
Class teacher Vicki Stephens said: “The children have been relentless in their rehearsals and they have worked tirelessly to ensure that the quality of their performance is outstanding with spine tingling vocal performances.
“What’s even more pleasing is the class have learnt the story of Easter while having so much fun.”
